This website is an initiative of likeminded young people brought together by the opportunity of study in
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology under the GLOBAL LITERACY PROJECT-PAMLO SCHOLARSHIP
AT JKUAT. We envision a future based on our community strengths and our desire to develop a diverse,
sustainable and viable economy for Teso. Central to this vision are the values that we share as a group -
creating a balance with all the development stakeholders in our community and the world at large and working
together co-operatively and peacefully with our partners in realizing rapid economic development, poverty
and illiteracy eradication by taking personal and collective responsibility for the well-being of the
community, and celebrating the special spirit and energy of this unique community and its people.
